First review of the newly released MG GN-X just popped up at Hobby No Toriko . As I mentioned previously, I think it’s one of very few interesting Gundam designs these days. GN-X joins the club with Kshatriya. All the others are horse poo in my humble opinion.
Very cool head (albeit mono-eye’s color needs changing), interesting flow of shapes, not-at-all ridiculous color scheme and lots of possibilites for additional detailing. It looks good now; it would look amazing with custom panel lines, metal thrusters, photo-etched grates, proper paint job and delicate weathering.
I just noticed it looks a bit like a Japanese samurai with Katana mounted to the belt. Nice!! I’m afraid I totally have to get one. Or maybe three. I’ll have a small squad protecting my kitchen or something.
